Role Purpose

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will guide senior HR and business stakeholders through the process of defining, refining, and delivering their people analytics vision. Working at the intersection of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and solution alignment, your work will ensure that clients understand how to use data to drive better people decisions — and how to realise that value through SAP People Intelligence and Business Data Cloud tools.

In addition to project delivery, you will also be responsible for account management and growth, developing strong relationships with senior client sponsors, identifying new opportunities, and shaping long-term account plans in collaboration with internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and lead vision-setting workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
  • Conduct requirement gathering activities, including surveys, interviews and other input-gathering approaches.
  • Perform structured analysis of qualitative and quantitative inputs to identify business needs and opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables, including:
    • People analytics visions and transformation roadmaps
    • KPI frameworks and success measurement models
    • Capability assessments, investment cases, and strategy briefs
  • Deliver outputs using PowerPoint and within 3n Strategy’s Customer Platform.
  • Shape and influence functional and technical solution design, working closely with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud consultants.
  • Provide ongoing strategic support during implementation phases to ensure alignment with original business goals.
  • Lead change and enablement planning, including capability building, stakeholder alignment, and adoption strategy.
  • Contribute to pre-sales, including proposal writing, bid strategy, and value definition for prospective clients.
  • Lead account management activities:
    • Build direct, trusted relationships with senior sponsors and decision-makers
    • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and scope potential future phases of work
    • Collaborate with internal teams on account planning, renewals, and strategic account development
  • Contribute to internal development, including frameworks, templates, methods, and reusable strategic content.

 

Working Model and Tools
  • This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Services Director.
  • The role is fully remote, supporting clients across North America and Northern/Western Europe.
  • Occasional travel may be required for client workshops or internal team collaboration.
  • The consultant will work across the following tools:
    • PowerPoint (for strategic presentations and storytelling)
    • Excel (for KPI modelling and planning frameworks)
    • Miro (for discovery and co-design)
    • Qualtrics (for stakeholder input and surveys)
    • Flourish (for visual framework and insight storytelling)
    • Scoro (for project collaboration and internal planning)
    • SAP Analytics Cloud for some project deliverables.

 

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in strategy consulting, HR analytics, organisational effectiveness, or transformation.
  • Proven ability to lead vision-setting and strategic planning engagements with senior HR and business stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of HR metrics, people analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with SAP People Intelligence, Business Data Cloud, and Report Stories, including how they are implemented and used in real-world settings.
  • Strong experience in delivering client-facing outputs using PowerPoint and other visual or collaborative tools.
  • Experience with account management, including sponsor engagement, opportunity identification, and relationship development.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills, with experience working directly with CHROs, HRDs, and programme sponsors.
  • Able to work independently and manage projects in a remote, cross-timezone environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience working alongside SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud consultants.
  • Involvement in change management, enablement, or behaviour change programmes.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales and developing reusable strategic content.
  • Familiarity with publishing or maintaining strategic artefacts via digital client platforms.

 

Decision-Making Responsibilities

The Senior Strategy Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Leading the definition of people analytics visions, roadmaps and success frameworks.
  • Making structured, evidence-based recommendations on measurement, capability building, and strategic priorities.
  • Shaping how insights and needs are translated into project scope and technical implementation.
  • Advising clients on strategic value, adoption approaches and alignment between technology and business goals.
  • Leading account growth conversations, identifying upsell potential and planning follow-on phases of work.
  • Representing 3n Strategy in high-level strategic and commercial conversations with senior stakeholders.
